Courage to Stay
A hub for ambitious, purpose-driven women ready to build bridges to transform the corporate world – instead of burning them.
My name is Joan Kuhl,
author, speaker, researcher, and advocate for corporate inclusivity. I help talented women climbing the corporate career ladder answer one big question:
“Should I stay or should I go?”
Ladies, let’s be real: It’s no mystery why women are leaving the world’s largest companies in droves. The corporate world is rife with systemic and cultural sexism. We are not responsible for the “boys club” C-suites, the gender pay gap, extreme job demands and the total disregard for the realities of motherhood.
Systemic gender inequality at every turn. From the pay gap to the struggle to get your voice heard, you often feel overlooked and undervalued.
The exhausting game that pits you directly against the “boys club” as you struggle to climb the ladder while others zipline it right to the top.
The 60+ hour work weeks, constantly being “on call”, because you feel you must have it all together all the time to get noticed (and promoted).
The constant tightrope walk of balancing motherhood with being a “high performer”, and constantly sacrificing something.
However, while you are bombarded with media messages encouraging you to jump ship, find a new position, or start a business...
… There’s a way to create the shifts and opportunities you crave right where you are—a way that fiercely honors your passion and drive, and changes the game for generations of leaders to come.
So the real question becomes:
Would you rather change jobs...
or change the world?
It all begins with the Courage to Stay.
